Toronto needs an engineer.

Let’s engineer our solutions.

No large corporations. No developers. Your contribution puts power back with the people.

How to contribute

Step 1: File your contribution details using the official MEA intake form (required for receipting and City disclosure).

Step 2: Send funds by Interac e-transfer (or cheque) to the campaign:

E-transfer: bethechangeno1@gmail.com

In the message, include your legal name, address, and the amount. After we verify funds, we send a contribution receipt. Official City rebate receipts (if eligible) are issued via EFFS later.

Toronto contribution rebate (2026)

The City rebates a portion of eligible contributions on a sliding scale, up to a $1,000 maximum, not a blanket “75% back.” The 75% rate applies only to gifts of $300 or less (nothing for $25 or less). A full $2,500 gift still returns at most $1,000.

  • $25 or less: no rebate
  • $25-$300: 75% (e.g. $200 → $150)
  • Over $300 up to $1,000: (amount − $300) × 50% + $225
  • Over $1,000: (amount − $1,000) × 33.33% + $575, capped at $1,000

Timeline: Online claims open October 2026; claim deadline December 30, 2027. Rebate cheques typically arrive in early 2028.
